1. Visit the UPPSC online portal at uppsc.up.nic.in and click on 'Candidate Registration' for new users.

3. Upload a recent passport-size colour photograph in JPEG format (20-50KB) with a light-coloured background.
4. Upload your scanned signature in JPEG (10-20KB) and a scanned left thumb impression if required by the notification.
5. Review the complete application with uploaded images, pay the fee via net banking/UPI, and save the confirmation page.

Common Signature Mistakes to Avoid

• Not reading the specific UPPSC notification guidelines, as photo size requirements can vary between PCS, RO/ARO, and other exams.
• Uploading a photo with spectacles that have tinted lenses, which UPPSC does not allow in application photographs.
• Using a very low-resolution camera, resulting in pixelated images that look unclear on the UPPSC admit card.
• Signing with a gel pen that smudges easily, producing a blurred signature scan.
